As a Specialist Purchasing (m/w/d), you will be part of the Procurement & Subcontracting team supporting the execution of project procurement activities. You will ensure that purchasing processes run efficient, compliant, and with high data quality in our systems. In this role, you act as a key interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers, contributing to successful project delivery by maintaining accurate procurement data, supporting purchasing activities, and ensuring full transparency and traceability across the purchasing lifecycle.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Review and validate purchase requisitions (PR) for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with defined requirements before initiating procurement activities
  • Act as key interface to suppliers for onboarding and master data activities, ensuring timely collection, validation, and maintenance of supplier information in procurement systems
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy, consistency, and correctness of procurement master data (registration, ERP, pre-qualification), acting as PSM data steward and ensuring a single source of truth across systems
  • Prepare and issue RFQs to prequalified suppliers using standard templates, ensuring proper documentation, version control, and compliance with procurement procedures
  • Collect, document, and structure supplier quotations, ensuring completeness and audit-ready records of all commercial inputs
  • Support basic commercial evaluations by preparing bid comparisons and highlighting deviations or gaps to senior procurement team members
  • Create and manage purchase orders (PO), ensuring alignment with approved scope, pricing, contractual terms, and compliance with internal governance
  • Track order progress, update delivery status, and maintain complete, structured, and audit-ready procurement documentation, including support for invoice verification and PO close-out

Show your expertise

  • Completed technical or business degree or comparable training with relevant professional experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in purchasing, preferably in the EPC or industrial environment
  • Very good written and spoken German and good English skills
  • Good knowledge of SAP or a comparable ERP system
  • High degree of personal responsibility, strong communication skills and assertiveness
