What You will Do:

Role Overview

We are seeking a Power BI and Microsoft Fabric Manufacturing Analytics Engineer to deliver enterprise‑grade analytics supporting plan vs. actual manufacturing visibility. The role focuses on integrating ADMS (ERP) plan data with MES execution systems (MES‑eDHR transitioning to MES‑Camstar) to enable operational insights across assembly, top‑level build, and test processes.

The engineer will own data ingestion, modeling, Power BI semantic models, advanced DAX, exception logic, and performance optimization while supporting a critical MES platform transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build linearity and milestone tracking dashboards using ADMS plan vs MES actuals.
  • Implement exception analytics for:
  • Hours variance
  • Missed or delayed milestones
  • Test stalls
  • Material posting / backflush lags
  • Develop operator capacity and utilization metrics (planned vs actual hours).
  • Design and maintain Microsoft Fabric data pipelines for ADMS and MES (eDHR → Camstar).
  • Support MES‑Camstar transition by updating or rebuilding pipelines, models, and reports.
  • Develop Power BI semantic models with conformed dimensions and time intelligence.
  • Author advanced DAX measures for variance, thresholds, alerts, and trend analysis.
  • Ensure non‑functional requirements are met:
  • Page loads < 5 seconds
  • ≥99% availability during production hours
  • Troubleshoot gateway, refresh, and performance issues.
  • Deliver documentation, data lineage, and UAT scripts.
  • Support deployment, handover, and knowledge transfer.

What You Will Bring:

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in Power BI / BI engineering roles.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI, including complex DAX.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, dataflows, or equivalent ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Solid data modeling skills (star schema, facts/dimensions).
  • Experience integrating ERP and MES/manufacturing systems.
  • Proven delivery of plan vs. actual analytics in operations or manufacturing contexts.
  • Ability to build and support production‑grade BI solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with MES platforms (eDHR, Camstar, or similar).
  • Manufacturing domain knowledge (assembly, test, routing, milestones).
  • Experience supporting system migrations or data‑source transitions.
