Job Description
Job Summary: • Perform inspection and repairs on all rotating equipment including gearboxes, motors, compressors, pumps, steam turbines, blowers, and fans. • Perform preventative maintenance tasks for all rotating equipment including gearboxes, motors, compressors, pumps, steam turbines, blowers, and fans. • Perform annual mechanical integrity inspections on steam turbine emergency/overspeed trip mechanisms. • Troubleshoot rotating equipment with excessive vibration, seal leaks, and performance issues. • Reading machinery and mechanical seal blueprints. • Operate shop turret lathe and horizontal milling machines. • Maintain and record documentation for rotating equipment inspection and repairs and mechanical integrity tasks. • Responsible for emergency callouts and weekly on-call duty.
