Job Purpose

The IT Project Manager – Integration & API Delivery is responsible for the successful delivery of global IT projects within the Application Delivery Integration domain. The role focuses on initiatives that connect critical business processes, applications and external partners across domains such as Order to Cash, Deliver and other enterprise functions.

The Integration domain operates a modern integration landscape based on SAP Integration Suite and Solace Advanced Event Mesh, enabling reliable application integration, APIs and event-driven solutions. The Project Manager will lead projects that further strengthen this landscape, including initiatives supporting the modernisation of customer ordering and other digital business processes.

Our delivery teams work in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology. The Project Manager is expected to support effective Agile delivery, facilitate collaboration across business and technical teams, and provide structure around planning, dependencies, risks, budget and stakeholder alignment. Flexibility and capability to also take on the role of Scrum Master when required is an important aspect of this position.

Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, security teams, delivery teams and external implementation partners, the Project Manager ensures that initiatives are delivered with clear scope, strong governance, controlled budgets, appropriate quality and measurable business outcomes.

  • Align stakeholders on project objectives, priorities, scope, responsibilities, timelines and expected outcomes.
  • Manage dependencies across domains, applications, technical teams and wider transformation initiatives.
  • Define and negotiate project deliverables, roles, responsibilities and ways of working with outsourced delivery partners.
  • Ensure delivery partners provide transparent planning, appropriate quality, timely issue resolution and reliable execution.
  • Proactively communicate risks, constraints, decisions and required management interventions.

Agile and Scrum Delivery

  • Support delivery teams in working effectively according to Agile principles and the Scrum methodology.
  • Facilitate collaboration between product owners, business representatives, technical teams and implementation partners.

Architecture, Security and Quality

  • Work with architecture stakeholders to ensure that agreed technology standards, integration patterns and solution principles are applied consistently in projects.
  • Work with security stakeholders to ensure that appropriate security requirements and policies are addressed throughout project delivery.
