Sr. Field Applications Engineer

Job Summary:

• This position will provide technical support to China mainland customers with R&D centers in Taiwan.
• The FAE identifies and shares current and emerging customer technical needs to improve the tactical and strategic product positioning.

Essential Functions:

• Technical support on all customer related products, mostly computing area. 
• Conduct product presentation and training to customers.
• Serve as technical interface to customers; analyze the customer's issues, diagnose technically and solve regular application issues. 
• Deliver and communicate with Application Engineer and Marketing about customers' issues and information in order to solve the issues quickly. 
• Provide the information including but not limited to market trends, competence analysis, and new product definition to Marketing Manager.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years’ experience in power electronics (DC/DC or AC/DC) related industry; experience in Power IC vendor as AE or FAE will be a plus. 
• Familiar with general NB/Server DCDC Power Design or DCDC will be a plus.
• Experience with motor driver will be a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge of power electronics.
• Ability of initiating and problem solving. 
• Good interpersonal skills. 
• Adaptability- ability to meet changed condition. 
• Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated and good team spirit. 

Requirements:

• Strong CPU core power design experience and knowledge is highly preferred.
• Good English (both written and spoken).
