Back to jobsPerform and report the range of radiological procedures practised within the Department, i.e. x-ray, fluoroscopy, general and obstetric ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine and interventional procedures within your scope of expertise and ability, as well as other commonly performed radiological diagnostic tests. This is the key role of the Medical Imaging department and is carried out under the supervision of a consultant radiologist.
Actively engage in all training requirements of the RANZCR radio-diagnosis curriculum.
Appropriate prioritization and protocolling of the imaging requests in the area you are working.
Provision of afterhours radiology services as required on the roster.
Liaison as required with referring doctors, other clinicians, radiographers, nursing and clerical staff.
Attendance at scheduled teaching and learning opportunities.
Attending clinical-radiological meetings and multidisciplinary meetings.
Timely completion of appropriate clinical, Barwon health and RANZCR documentation as require.
