Job Description
Creative Dining Services is looking for a full-time Lead Barista for our new café located in the Haworth Hotel on Hope College’s campus! The ideal candidate is a strong leader who delivers excellent customer service, stays organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while creating an exceptional guest experience.
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepares and presents food & beverages according to established recipe and presentation standards
- Achieve high levels of customer and client satisfaction
- Ensure all equipment works and is maintained properly
- Provide leadership, training, and instruction
- Refer and provide information to higher management regarding issues or concerns
The successful candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year of retail or specialty coffee experience in a lead role.
- Basic computer knowledge.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Must be able to lift/move 25+ lbs. May require standing for extended hours at a time. Environment may include hot, humid, or cold temperatures.
