Job Description

Summary

The Department of Urology is seeking a Urologist to join its faculty team. This position will provide patient care with a focus on comprehensive urology, prostate disease, and men's health while supporting the department's academic mission through teaching and mentorship. The physician will work collaboratively with faculty, residents, fellows, and medical students and participate in clinical activities at Baylor College of Medicine and affiliated hospitals.

Job Duties

  • Provide comprehensive urology patient care
  • Support men's health and prostate disease programs
  • Participate in call coverage and clinical services
  • Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students
  • Support departmental growth and academic initiatives
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across affiliated hospitals and clinics

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Urology residency program
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology
  • Eligible for a Texas medical license
  • Eligible for hospital privileges and credentialing
  • Strong commitment to patient care, education, and academic medicine
  • Interest or experience in men's health, prostate disease, and comprehensive urology preferred
  • Completion of a post-residency fellowship program in men’s health, benign prostate disease diagnosis and management, or related fields is highly desirable
