JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
• Understand project and contract specifications.
• Define work scopes for topside engineering company.
•Together with engineering companies to work out FPU Topside and Marine electrical system concepts, schedule of deliverables and plan activities in line with overall project schedule, monitors the progress.
• Review and ensure equipment layout in compliance with requirements of contract, classifications and regulations and coordinate with various disciplines for material handling, constructability and installations, operations and maintenance, and safety etc.
• Review topside electrical documents, such as design philosophies, electrical consumer list, electrical load balance, single line diagrams, room layout and deck arrangement, cable schedules and etc. Make sure the designs are in compliance with requirements of contract, classifications and regulations.
• Review procurement engineering documents issued by engineering companies, such as technical specifications, equipment data sheets, technical bid evaluation etc.
•Review and comment vendor documents.
• Participates in technical meetings, progress reviews, 3D Model reviews; addresses issues related to electrical design, interface.
•Participate safety studies, such as hazid, hazop and etc.
•Together with topside engineering companies to address comments from client, classification and other third parties working on the project.
•Communicate with vendors and other disciplines to ensure that changes are timely captured and implemented in electrical engineering and 3D Model.
•Continue all electrical engineering activities after taking over from engineering companies, including document updating, vendor document review, supporting construction, commissioning etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or related engineering disciplines
- 6 years of working experience in planning, designing and construction of Instrumentation system in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience in Electrical system design in Pre-FEED, FEED, EPCC, Conversion and Repair & Life Extension
- Familiarity with USCG and BSEE requirements will be an additional advantages

Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5.15pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4.30pm
