Job Description
Position Scope and Purpose:
To produce, inspect and package product per supplied specifications and instructions. Perform mold press operations to support production floor. Shifts available are 12 hour shifts: A/C Crew 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, B/D Crew 6:00 pm - 6:00 am.
Key Accountabilities / Essential Functions:
- Perform mold press operations to support production floor.
- Responsible for reading, understanding and following work instructions.
- Inspect parts and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor and/or QA and Technical staff.
- Regular attendance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Other Position Duties:
- Maintain efficiency, housekeeping, safety and GMP's.
- Monitor machinery/equipment operation to detect problems.
- Measure, weigh or count materials and product.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- The ability to follow oral and written instructions and to understand, speak and read English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Fingering, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, and Hearing.
