Head of Network & Infrastructure Sourcing

We’re looking for a Head of Network & Infrastructure Sourcing to join us at Telia.

I’m Christian Linhart, Chief Procurement Officer for Telia Group. We have the vision to build up the best Procurement team for a Telecom operator in the Nordics and a strongly respected Procurement organization across all industries.
To strengthen our successful team even further, I’m searching for a senior leader ready to take end‑to‑end responsibility for sourcing and supplier management across Telia’s network and infrastructure landscape.
In this role, you will be a member of the Procurement Leadership Team, shaping sourcing strategies for some of Telia’s most critical and high‑value technology domains.

You will join a leadership team focused on resilient, cost‑efficient and future‑ready connectivity across critical network and infrastructure environments.

The position location is Solna, Sweden.

What you’ll do

As Head of Network & Infrastructure Sourcing, you will define and lead the sourcing strategy for Telia’s network and infrastructure categories, closely partnering with Technology, Security and Business stakeholders across the Group.

• Own and drive the sourcing strategy for network and infrastructure domains across Telia Group

• Lead and develop senior sourcing team, responsible for large‑scale, complex technology categories

• Act as a strategic partner to Technology and Network leaders, aligning commercial, technical and transformation priorities

• Manage critical supplier ecosystems, including strategic vendors, partnerships, negotiations and long‑term agreements

• Drive commercial excellence, value creation, cost efficiency and risk management across infrastructure spend

• Support major transformations, including network modernization, virtualization, cloud and automation initiatives

• Contribute as a member of the Procurement Leadership Team, influencing Group‑level strategy, governance and ways of working

What will help you thrive in this role

You are a senior, credible sourcing leader with deep understanding of network and infrastructure environments, comfortable operating at both strategic and executive levels.

• Proven leadership experience within network, infrastructure, or technology sourcing in telco environment (CPO or Head of Network Procurement role experience or similar at a leading Telecom operator recommended)

• Strong understanding of network technologies and infrastructure platforms, enabling effective dialogue with technical stakeholders

• Solid track record managing large, complex supplier landscapes and high‑value commercial negotiations

• Experience working at Group or multi‑country level, balancing local needs with global strategy (international experience, including markets outside the Nordics, is beneficial)

• Ability to combine strategic thinking with execution discipline, drive change and challenge legacy sourcing models, and build best‑in‑class tendering and competition practices

• Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with executive leadership teams

• Fluency in English (Telia footprint languages is a plus)
