Pay Grade: 735 (Min $16.85 per hr)

Primary Purpose:
- Maintain current and accurate data related to student registration, enrollment, attendance, scheduling, grades/report cards, withdrawals, transfers and coding. Perform data entry to support
campus processes and the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS).
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalency
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong computer skills are essential
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to meet established deadlines
- Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
- Ability to provide strong customer service to all stakeholders
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of data entry experience in a public education environment (preferred)
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Create and maintain physical and computerized enrollment and withdrawal records and
student residency information that are contained within the student cumulative folder - Create and maintain physical and computerized records such as report card grades,
eligibility, attendance, class rosters, grade books, and schedule changes if applicable for
existing, new and transfer students - Prepare and print reports including demographic, attendance, grades, scheduling and
transcript information - Assist with the campus master schedule
- Ensure accurate maintenance of PEIMS data in the student information system
- Review data discrepancy errors and communicate with appropriate campus staff to facilitate
corrections and ensure data accuracy - Perform regular self-audits on PEIMS data for all student related state reportable data
- Provide requested records, special program participation information, and the necessary
documentation to other school districts following designated guidelines - Maintain designated student information within the student information system
- Maintain records following district records retention policy
- Ensure strict adherence to all laws and regulations outlined in Student Attendance Accounting Handbook
- Effectively communicate the district's policy on absences and tardiness to students and
parents - Perform other duties as assigned
