Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide quality in-home care for clients in the Crossville and Cookeville areas. Our office is located in Crossville but you will only need to come to the office for the interview and orientation. We will get you clients in your area once hired. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health as required
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the care team
Requirements
- Prior experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with strong communication skills
- Ability to pass background checks
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes around Crossville, Cookeville area
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
