Certified Building Substitutes

Title: Certified Building Substituted - All buildings
Contracted employment; Daily schedule varies by work location assignment
Working up to 4 school days per week, 7.5 hours per day

Classification: Certified, Substitute Teaching

Qualifications: Certified / Licensed Teacher, State of Ohio, in the following area(s):
Valid Teaching License or valid General Substitute Teaching License
*Non-degree substitutes will not be considered

Reports to: ESC-ENO & Respective Administrator 

Position Goals: Follow lesson plans and provide leadership to students as they progress
toward the fulfillment of their academic goals in a school setting which 
promotes intellectual, emotional, psychological and physical well-being and 
maturation.

Terms of 
Employment: Contracted with Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio (ESC-NEO)

Funding: General fund, Building Substitutes 2026-2027 pay rate, $175.00 per day

Limitations: As outlined in district Policy Section 3120, Employment of Teaching Staff, District Rules & Regulations Section 3120 (A-F), Professional Employees, and applicable law.
