Job Description

Carroll Catholic School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated middle school (5th - 8th grades) Math and Science teacher for an immediate opening beginning August 1, 2026. Applicants should have the ability to construct their curricula, develop syllabi, hold high academic and behavior expectations for all their students, offer support and instruction to students at all ability levels, and deliver high quality instruction. The preferred candidate has an enthusiasm for working with youth, a strong understanding of core concepts and curricula, and the desire to work in a Christian environment. Responsibilities

  • Support and uphold the Catholic mission of the school.
  • Plan a program of study with logically sequenced objectives.
  • Employ a variety of instructional techniques meeting the individual needs and abilities of the students.
  • Practice positive, consistent discipline in the management of the classroom.
  • Communicate with parents regarding academic, behavioral, or safety concerns.
  • Evaluate academic growth of students.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and appropriate confidential records such as gradebook, attendance, etc.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the work environment and grow professionally.
  • Establish positive relationships and rapport with students.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Professional Educators License with middle school Math endorsement; MS Science endorsement preferred as well.
