POSTING NOTICE
The following position is available:
Secondary Teacher
GENESEE COUNTY JAIL
Secondary Certified
Deadline Date: June 10, 2026
Beginning Date: 2026-2027 School Year
Rate of Pay: According to Contract
Qualifications:
- Secondary Certification
- Highly Qualified in Secondary Core Content Area
- Experience in preparing students for GED, High School completion and Adult Basic Education, preferred
- Knowledge of a variety of on-line learning software systems and skill sets with technology
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Must meet all certification/ESSA highly qualified requirements as set by the State of Michigan/AdvancEd and/or the Mt. Morris Board of Education.
