Summer School Early Childhood Special Education Teachers (ESY) - Summer 2026

Crystal Lake School District 47 currently has openings for Summer School Early Childhood Special Education Teachers (ESY). The goal of this position is to provide a well-managed classroom environment where students with disabilities have an opportunity to succeed in accordance with their Individual Educational Plan (IEP). 

The Summer Program will run from June 1, 2026 through June 25, 2026 at Glacier Ridge. Time will be 7:30am - 12:15pm. Days are Monday-Thursday. 

Pay will be $193.22 per day. There will also be a $300 bonus for licensed staff who are returning for Summer School from last year (2025) in District 47. It is a requirement to work the entire summer program.


Requirements include:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License required, and
• Early Childhood Education Special Education Endorsement, or
• Early Childhood Education + Early Childhood Special Ed Approval accepted, or
• LBSI (PK-21) + Early Childhood special education approval
