Title: Glazier

Under general supervision, installs, replaces and repairs glass windows, mirrors and related items for the DeKalb County School District (DCSD). 

Essential Functions:

The following duties are representative for this position. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. 

• Repairs and replaces windows and mirrors. 
• Conducts routine and special inspections. 
• Orders glass and other related supplies.
• Performs emergency repair calls during the work day. 
• Makes on-call emergency calls after hours if needed. 
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED equivalent required with minimum of three (3) years of window installation/repair or closely related experience and demonstration of proficiency necessary to perform the duties for the position.
