Banquet Server and Setup/Host, Busser and Expo
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Set up and tear down of all function room space according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) details and company banquet standards.
- To assist Captains and servers with serving food or beverage and stocking buffet lines when requested.
- Participate as a team player to provide smooth operations of this area.
- Keep the banquet rooms, hallways, storage, and banquet kitchen areas neat, clean and well organized.
- Display proper professional attitude, demeanor and cooperation toward guests, peers and management.
- Work in the banquet rooms to provide table service and hospitality to our guests
- Professionally represent the hotel and property when interacting with guests from the community and industry organizations
- Ability to work shifts involving set up, cleanup, and tear down procedures
- Be an ambassador for the restaurant and property. Greet and seat our guests as they arrive, and thank them for their business as they depart
- Other support duties to help assist guests and servers, such as bus tables, or run to go orders.
- Learn and maintain proper Health Department standards and codes
- Learn and maintain proper food, bar and wine menu knowledge
- Communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently.
- Other duties as required

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year prior food and beverage service experience preferred
- Proper uniform is required and must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position
- May be required to work varying schedules
- Ability to read and write basic English
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently during workday
