Job Description
This position assists skilled craftsmen and technicians with the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems and equipment; assists with general carpentry and minor building construction and renovation work; maintains and repairs the City’s parking facilities; and performs related work as required. The incumbent works according to some procedures but decides how or when to do things; work is reviewed regularly by supervisor. The work is considered medium-to-heavy in nature and involves walking, standing, stooping, lifting, digging, pushing or raising objects and also involves exerting between 20 and 50 pounds of force on a recurring basis and 50 to 100...
