Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Seeking highly qualified candidates for a full-time, tenure-track teaching position in integrated co-teacher and consultant teacher classrooms. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of adolescent development, individualized instruction, assessment for progress monitoring, and will possess strong case-management skills. 

 

SALARY:

Highly competitive, based on experience and graduate credits, per Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract. 

 

LOCATION:

All Secondary Buildings (Grades 7-12)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education (Secondary and/or K-12) is required. Dual certification in a core content area is desirable, but applicants should be committed to working in special education.

 

EFFECTIVE:

September 1, 2026 

 Attendance at New Teacher Orientation on August 25-27 is required.
