Hours 6:20 am - 9:20 am & 3:00pm - 6:00pm + 1 hour meeting + 2 hour planning

Job Summary
The Vacation Station Facilitator supports the Program Coordinator and Assistant Program Coordinator in planning and supervising a school-age program at the elementary school site. This role is essential in creating an enriching environment that promotes both academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend Meetings:
Attend meetings, workshops, and other activities organized by the Coordinator to gather and convey necessary information.
- Emergency Preparedness:
Communicate and practice emergency plans for each center to ensure all staff and students are prepared for potential emergencies.
- Maintain Program Quality:
Focus on interactive techniques and classroom activities that challenge students academically and support the program's model for success.
- Monitor Students:
Consistently monitor students to keep them physically and academically engaged throughout the program.
- Organize Activities:
Prepare and organize the classroom environment and activities daily, encouraging hands-on learning, socialization, and positive behavior.
- Review Documentation:
Review all records and reports required by Vacation Station to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Enhance Program Services:
Review and modify the services and activities provided to ensure a safe, fun, and educational environment for children.
- Ensure Safety Compliance:
Review emergency evacuation plans and training for all center staff to ensure safety and compliance with district protocols.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (required). Completion of 60 college credits in a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
Job-related experience is desired.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Record-Keeping:
Ability to maintain accurate and thorough records.

Proficiency in standard office software applications.

Physical Demands
- Activity:
Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
- Environment:
The job typically requires 20% sitting, 50% walking, and 30% standing in a generally clean and healthy environment.
