Laundry Assistant

Shift Available: 8a-3p

Brownfield Care Center is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Assistant to join our team. As a Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for laundering and cleaning linens and garments to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests. This position is well-suited for individuals with experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in hotels.

Duties:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments according to established procedures
- Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the supervisor
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Follow proper handling and storage techniques for clean and soiled linens
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry area and equipment
- Assist with inventory management by keeping track of linen supplies
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens to guest rooms

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

Experience:
- Previous experience in laundry operations, preferably in a similar setting
- Familiarity with dry cleaning procedures is a plus
- Knowledge of different fabric types and their care requirements
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
