Job Description

Position: Food Service Worker, Server, Floater Supervisor: Cafeteria Manager
Classification: Hourly, Classified Hours: 10:30AM - 1:15PM

Contract:

The position is based on hourly compensation, with the number of annual hours to be determined and with leave as defined in the Classified Employees’ Handbook.


Job Functions:
  • Wear appropriate attire
  • Maintain cleanliness standards
  • Assist in the preparation of student and staff lunches.
  • Set up and serve in serving line.
  • Assist in clean up of kitchen, dishwashing room, and dining room.
  • Utilize at all times exemplary practices in sanitation and personal cleanliness.
  • Perform such other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate aptitude/competence to complete assigned responsibilities
  • Dependable and trustworthy

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Physical Requirements/ Environmental Conditions:
  • Prolonged standing and walking
  • Repetitive bending, twisting and turning motion
  • Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds regularly
