Job Description
Job Posting for all individuals interested in applying for Bus Driver. Individuals can apply here for current and/or anticipated Bus Driver vacancies.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Safely transport students and school personnel to and from authorized campuses and final destinations. Periodically transport students and school personnel to and from extra-curricular activities. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- Valid Texas Commercial Driver's License with Passenger endorsement. (CDL REQUIRED)
- Valid Enrollment Certificate or Texas School Bus Driver Certification.
- Must pass Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical Medical Examination
Special knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to pass alcohol and drug test.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to adjust and deviate from route description when traffic and /or weather conditions justify such actions.
- Ability to communicate effectively and use a 2-way radio.
- Ability to manage student behavior.
Minimum Experience:
- No previous experience is necessary.
REQUIRED: Background (police) check will be conducted.
