How you’ll make an impact 

 

Provide strategic leadership , helping drive consistency, communication and performance across a national sales force of approximately 800 employees. 

 

As Executive Manager, Ag Production, you’ll lead and support a team of business managers while working closely with senior leaders and corporate partners to translate strategic priorities into clear actions, aligned processes and measurable outcomes. You’ll play a key role in helping the team navigate change, support workforce planning and ensure communication is timely, consistent and connected to business priorities. 

 

Your leadership, judgment and communication skills will enable you to build alignment across teams, monitor critical priorities, support informed decision-making and help move important initiatives forward. What you’ll do 

  • Lead, coach and support a team of business managers who help enable Ag Production priorities, sales execution and strategic outcomes 

  • Partner with the Executive Vice-President, Ag Production, and senior leaders to translate divisional strategy, annual plans and business priorities into clear actions, performance measures and outcomes  

  • Drive consistency in communication, processes and decision-making across sales areas, ensuring employees and stakeholders receive clear, timely and aligned information 

  • Support the development, monitoring and reporting of divisional OKRs, KPIs, strategic scorecards and other performance measures to track progress 

  • Help the team navigate organizational change, including workforce planning and other transformation priorities, through thoughtful communication and practical execution  

  • Collaborate with sales effectiveness, finance, communications and other corporate partners to support integrated planning, performance measurement and business enablement  

  • Support a regular cadence of business reviews and leadership meetings by helping shape agendas, prepare materials, clarify decisions and track action items  

  • Prepare presentations, briefing materials and communications that support senior leadership priorities, strategic messaging and EVP-level decision-making  

  • Represent the EVP office or Ag Production leadership team on projects, committees or cross-divisional initiatives as required  

  • Manage incoming requests, approvals and priorities for the EVP office, ensuring timely follow-up and alignment with divisional priorities 

 

 

What you’ll bring to the team 

Required qualifications: 

  • A degree in business administration or a related field or discipline

  • Minimum seven years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Strong leadership capability, including experience leading, coaching, influencing or supporting teams 

  • Proven ability to translate strategy into clear outcomes, actions and performance measures 

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to create clear, timely and strategic messaging for employees, leaders and stakeholders 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment 

  • Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) 

 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Experience in a formal people leadership role 

  • Business knowledge in agriculture, sales, lending, financial services or a related operational environment 

  • Experience supporting change management, workforce planning, performance measurement or strategic business planning 

  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams or national business functions
