Key job responsibilities
Outbound Marketing Strategy & Execution
* Own the comprehensive outbound marketing strategy across email and push notification channels, including targeting, segmentation, messaging, channel mix, A/B testing, and campaign optimization
* Define and execute go-to-market plans that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through personalized, data-driven campaigns
* Develop customer segmentation strategies and targeting frameworks to maximize campaign effectiveness and ROI across lifecycle stages — from new customer acquisition through reactivation
* Establish success metrics and measurement frameworks, optimizing campaigns based on performance data including click-through rates, conversion rates, and attributed revenue
Annual Tentpole Event Strategy & Management
* Own end-to-end marketing strategy for key annual events including Prime Day, Holiday (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Q4 peak), and other high-traffic tentpole moments
* Develop and direct the team's event marketing playbooks — defining timelines, channel activation plans, audience targeting strategies, and integrated messaging calendars that drive outsized acquisition and engagement during peak periods
* Coordinate cross-channel execution (onsite placements, email, push notifications) to maximize customer reach, conversion, and revenue during tentpole windows
* Conduct post-event analysis to quantify incremental lift, identify growth opportunities, and refine future event strategies based on performance data
* Work with creative teams to develop compelling messaging and content that drives engagement across lifecycle stages and tentpole events
* Build reporting frameworks and dashboards to track campaign performance, channel health, and tentpole event outcomes against targets
Technical Requirements & In-House Capabilities
* Define technical requirements and product roadmap to bring email and push notification capabilities in-house
* Partner with engineering teams to build scalable infrastructure for outbound marketing channels, including:
* Email content management tool integration and management
* Push notification platform architecture (iOS, Android, web push)
* Marketing automation and orchestration tools
* A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
* Ensure compliance with legal and privacy requirements; and platform guidelines (iOS, Google Play)
* Drive technical decisions on build vs. buy for marketing technology stack
We are seeking a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to lead owned and operated channel partnership across Amazon — including onsite strategic placements, outbound marketing strategy for email and push notification
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- Experience building scalable processes and mechanisms for campaign planning, event execution, and performance
- Experience developing lifecycle marketing strategies that drive measurable growth in acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Master's degree
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience managing large-scale tentpole marketing events (e.g., Black Friday/Cyber Monday) with demonstrated revenue impact
- Experience leading and developing marketing teams toward growth-oriented objectives

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
