Job Description
Electrical & Control Project Engineer
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
1.
Designing of LV control panels, designing of PLC control panels, automation of system.
2.
Designing work with Instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, level, quality, pH, ..)
3.
Liaise with client and application specialists during the tender/bid stage on design and specifications of control equipment and ancillary electrical works.
4.
Write control strategies and prepare supporting documentation as necessary to fully define project specific programming requirements.
5.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
6.
Manage and issue relevant parties’ electrical documents including control philosophies, FDS’s, load schedules and wiring schematics.
7.
Monitor and advise on costs associated with electrical designs both at proposal stage and throughout the contract. Support and develop integration and controls products through standardization of specifications and program code. overall design for electrical erection.
8.
Technical processing and analysis of client’s requirements specification.
9.
Issuance of project-specific automation concepts.
10.
Support to sales activities such as cost estimation for the automation part
11.
Issuance of specifications, invitations to bid for subcontractors
12.
Overall design for electrical erection, Cost control and cost optimization
13.
Support/training staff and clients.
14.
Securing project data.
15.
Documentation (DQ, FAT, IQ, OQ)
16.
Coordination with project management
17.
Collaboration during project processing
18.
Program and configure PLCs and SCADA systems to meet technical, commercial and project requirements (an asset)
19.
You have already an intermediate or senior level in these technologies and the willingness to improve yourself in process automation is part of your temperament.
LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Electrical Standards:
Knowledge of electrical standards IEC
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Technical graduate education (bachelor’s or master’s Degree) in Automation Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited university. Along with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in electrical controls designing and project management.
Experience with Siemens and/or Rockwell PLC
Experience with System Platform Aveva, Ignition, Intouch, PCS7.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Good English speaking and writing (fluent)
