Pay Scale: $35.00/ Hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Tutors are responsible for providing instruction to students confined to the home or hospital or awaiting appropriate program placement.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

1. Provide instruction to students confined to the hospital, home or awaiting appropriate program placement. 

2. Monitor and report progress to the classroom teacher and administration. 

3. Perform such other professional duties as may be assigned by the classroom teacher or the Supervisor of Special Education.

QUALIFICATIONS:

NYS Teacher Certification required. BS degree required. Prior teaching experience preferred.
