Substitute Clinical Nursing Teacher

The individual will provide skills training and supervision in the clinical and/or laboratory setting for students preparing for Nursing Assistant certification or Practical Nurse licensure. This position includes providing instruction and training to high school and adult learners. The individual will evaluate, track, record, and report clinical performance of students. Registered Nurse (RN) License, current technical nursing skills, computer competency, excellent interpersonal skills and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification are required. Teaching and management experience are desired. The individual must have or be eligible for appropriate certification upon hire. Other responsibilities may be assigned. The assignment is subject to change.

Requirement:  Civil Service – Non-competitive, Registered Nurse License Required, CPR/AED Certification Required

Board of Education approved hourly rate.

Substitute Clinical Nurse: $36.60 per hour.
