Information Technology Support Specialist, K-6 - Bedford School District

Description: Full time, year round, position beginning July 2026. 

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Technology, the Information Technology Support Specialist is responsible for training, assisting and supporting staff in the installation, configuration, operation and general maintenance of assigned software and hardware systems. This position supports K-6 grade levels at three elementary schools and one intermediate school in the district. Candidate must be available and willing to support each location when needed. 

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent content area with a minimum of 5 years experience in a technology support capacity. Technical and end user knowledge of MacOS, ChromeOS, iPadOS, iOS, and Windows Operating Systems. Basic understanding of networks. Advanced knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software including Google Apps, Google Sites, and Gmail.
