Schedule/Wage:
Drives school bus to transport students safely over specified routes according to time schedules. Complies with all state and local traffic regulations.
- Responsible for driving school bus safely and professionally at all times
- Conducts a pre-trip inspection of the school bus prior to trip or run
- Drives defensively under varying traffic conditions and inclement weather
- Must always drive with the safetly of our students as first priority
- Operates the bus on the approved time schedule
- Establishes favorable working relationships with students on the bus
- Establishes favorable working relationships with school staff
- Exhibits a positive image as a representative of the school district
- Instructs passengers regarding thier safety responsibilities
- Participates in all drives in-services (basic and continuing bus driver education)
- Responsible for keeping bus clean and fueled
