Summary of position:
The Occupational Therapist enables children to access their educational programs through identification and therapy when needed.

- Provide initial evaluation and re-evaluation of children.
- Evaluate functional strengths and weaknesses through observation and administration of standardized and non-standardized procedures in:
2. Sensory-motor integration.
3. Fine motor skills.
4. Gross motor skills.
5. Proper positioning.
6. Visual motor skills.
7. Oral motor and feeding skills.
8. Pre-vocational skills.
- Provide appropriate staff with demonstration of Occupational Therapy programs and services.
- Work integratively within the classroom setting and with other team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- PA State Certification/License.
- Knowledge of and experience with neuro-developmental and sensory motor system.
- Experience working with students with various levels of disabilities in pre-school, school-age, and/or transition to adult life programs.
- Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of special education.
Schedule:
Part-Time, 10 months/year
Salary:
- Bachelor = $51,419 to $80,190
- Bach+15 credits = $52,136 to $80,915
- Bach+24 credits = $52,927 to $81,715
- Masters = $62,870 to $92,455
- Mast+15 credits = $63,563 to $93,155
- Mast+30 credits = $64,255 to $93,855
- Mast+45 credits = $65,641 to $95,255
- Mast+60 credits = $66,877 to $96,505
