- Perform ingredient receiving function, and scheduling and routing correct formulas.
- Have overall knowledge of mill processing and ration flow.
- Reassign ingredient/micro bins correctly following proper procedures.
- Maintain First-In-First-Out inventory management system and have proficient knowledge of the various bagged ingredients.
- Responsible for filling up propane cylinders as necessary.
- Maintain accurate ingredient inventories and communicate all potential shortages.
- Maintain orderly production records.
- Understand and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP’s, and HACCP.
- Working overtime is MANDATORY and requires full participation.
- Keep work area clean and maintain assigned portion of master sanitation schedule.
- Report all safety violations and hazards to the supervisor immediately and participate in all safety programs and procedures. Must always wear required PPE.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by the supervisor to be accepted with a positive and professional attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must hold a valid driver's license.
- Must be computer literate.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening (drug screen, background check, and physical.)
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work well under pressure.
- Work is primarily performed indoors and outdoors near operating equipment, loud noises, and loose particles.
- Work performed requires employees to operate in all different temperatures and with extended standing time.
- Employees are required to wear a bump cap, hearing protection, safety shoes/boots, and safety glasses at all times.
