Position Summary
The qualified candidate will perform duties and responsibilities necessary to support the area to which they are assigned in the classroom.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Should be neat, thorough and have knowledge of school procedures.
  • Requires good communication skills and the ability to work well with students and staff.
  • Must be able to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and good judgment.
  • May require intermediate computer knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • May require a valid driver's license.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  •  Safety of stockroom & classroom.
  •  Interested in Industrial Technology & knowledge of equipment
  •  Receiving storage & rotation of supplies.
  •  Self directed, efficient, good communication skills.
  •  Functions as an effective team member.
  • Must be able to multi-task efficiently.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as correspondence, surveys and electronic media.
  • Ability to write professional communications
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to complete and apply basic mathematics concepts
  • Ability to respond to questions from individuals and groups

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships 
Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. In addition, the ability to withstand long-term use of video display terminals (VDT) is required.
  • The employee may occasionally lift up to 30 pounds such as reference books.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • The pace of work tasks would be considered as fast.
  • Work is usually conducted at one job site, however, on occasion, this employee will be required to attend meetings, conferences, or workshops and events at other sites as assigned.
