Job Description
A. P&L & Portfolio Ownership
Own P&L performance for SME lending, deposits, and fee‑based products (e.g. FX, bancassurance, service fees).
Analyse portfolio trends, customer behaviour, margins, and risk metrics to identify growth and remediation actions.
Recommend pricing, funding mix, and portfolio optimisation strategies.
B. SME Product Strategy & Roadmap
Develop and maintain a multi‑year SME product roadmap across lending, deposits, and fee income.
Drive product enhancements, market segmentation strategies, and value proposition design.
Ensure products remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with group and regulatory policies.
C. SME Lending Program Management
Own the SME lending framework across unsecured, secured, working capital, and program‑based lending.
Partner with Credit and Risk teams to design and refine credit policies, scorecards, and decisioning models.
Track approval rates, turnaround times, and portfolio quality, and recommend corrective actions.
Proactively escalate program gaps, emerging risks, or policy constraints.
D. Commercial Enablement & Growth Initiatives
Partner Distribution, Digital Channels, and Partnerships teams to deliver campaigns, NTB initiatives, and cross‑sell programs.
Support frontline enablement through product positioning, program structures, and commercial logic.
Drive industry‑specific and value‑chain programs to accelerate SME growth.
E. Governance & Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain strong governance, risk discipline, and audit readiness across SME products and programs.
Represent Business Banking in committees such as ALCO, Pricing Committee, and Credit Policy Committee as a subject‑matter expert.
Engage regulators, industry bodies, and partners on SME program matters when required.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
10–15 years of experience in Business Banking, SME Products, Credit, or Portfolio Management.
Strong understanding of SME lending, credit policy, and P&L mechanics.
Proven ability to deliver outcomes through influence rather than direct authority.
Commercially sharp with disciplined risk mindset
