Summer Cook Assistants - Hutchinson, MN

Hutchinson Public Schools has multiple Summer Cook Assistant positions for the summer of 2026.

The Cook Assistant will perform a variety of duties relative to the assigned kitchen of responsibility under the direction of the supervisor. This position will maintain food service facilities in a clean and sanitary condition. Positions are available at the Middle School and Rec Center. 

The salary range for this position is $18.46 per hour - $20.96 per hour. Salary is dependent upon education and experience. Benefits include retirement plan with employer contribution.

Schedule/Hours: 

• 06/08/2026 - 08/14/2026
• Monday - Thursday, hours per day may vary

Qualifications: 

• Cashier and food service experience is preferred in this position.
• Customer service skills are very essential to this position.
• Ability to work with others as a team is required as teamwork is crucial to the efficiency of the kitchens.
