Status: Full-time
Schedule: 7.00 Hours/Day (8:00 am-3:30 pm) Monday-Friday 190 Days/Year
Minimum Salary: $65,001.00
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Physical Education Teacher is responsible for developing physical education programs where there are large numbers of IU classes or where district staff is not available. Also necessary where there are unusual needs of children with deficits in a regular school and beyond the ability of the regular school physical education teacher.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Education Required: Bachelor's degree
Certification Required: Health/Physical Education.
Experience Required: None required; several years of experience preferred.
Other Qualifications: Ability to perform above duties, work well with students and parents and become an integral part of school community.
