Elementary School Classroom Assistant – Multiple Openings!
The Kirkwood School District is hiring Classroom Assistants to support our Elementary Schools during the 2025/2026 school year.
Classroom Assistants support the Elementary School classroom by working with students, supporting instruction, and working closely with Teachers.
Classroom supervision and some clerical work are a part of this role.
Requirements:
Most Classroom Assistant positions are part-time, 10-month assignments.
This posting will remain open for the entirety of the 2025/2026 school year, or until all positions have been filled, and candidates will be reached out to as openings arise.

- Two years of college (at least 60 college credit hours as required by MOSIP standards)/associate degree and 1 year of related work experience.
- OR Bachelor’s degree in education, special education, or a related field.
- College coursework related to early childhood, education, or special education (preferred)
- CPR certification and first aid training (preferred)
