Description

This role is part of the Office of the Chief of Staff to the Chief Technology Office (CTO) for Technology, Data & Analytics (TD&A). The Executive Director, Transformation Enablement is responsible for enabling enterprise-wide adoption, operational readiness, and organizational effectiveness across major Technology transformation initiatives. This role serves as the connective tissue between strategy and execution by ensuring the organization is prepared, aligned, equipped, and capable of successfully adopting new ways of working, operating models, technologies, and practices.

This role will work horizontally across Technology, Data & Analytics functions, partnering with initiative leaders, portfolio management, HR, communications, finance, and business stakeholders to ensure transformation programs are effectively operationalized and embedded into the organization.

Key Considerations

  • This role requires a highly collaborative enterprise leader who can work across organizational boundaries to drive alignment, readiness, and adoption of transformational change initiatives.
  • Must possess deep expertise in organizational transformation, change enablement, operating model evolution, and large-scale technology adoption.
  • Requires the ability to translate strategic priorities into scalable enablement frameworks, practical change interventions and organizational actions.
  • Must balance strategic thinking with operational execution and hands-on implementation support.
  • High emotional intelligence and influencing capability are critical to navigate organizational complexity and varying levels of transformation maturity.
  • Requires strong executive presence and the ability to engage credibly with senior leadership while also driving execution with working teams.
  • This role is expected to identify organizational friction points, adoption risks, capability gaps, and execution barriers across initiatives and proactively drive mitigation strategies.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Technology Transformation Enablement

  • Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide enablement strategies supporting Technology, Data & Analytics transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with strategic initiative leaders and functional executives to ensure organizational readiness and successful adoption of new capabilities, processes, and operating models.
  • Establish scalable transformation enablement frameworks, methodologies, and approaches across TD&A.
  • Identify organizational barriers, dependencies, capability gaps, and change impacts that may affect successful transformation execution.
  • Drive alignment across initiatives to ensure consistent approaches to change adoption, engagement, and operationalization.

Organizational Readiness & Adoption

  • Develop readiness assessments, adoption metrics, stakeholder engagement strategies, and enablement plans for major transformation programs.
  • Partner with leadership teams, HR, communications to ensure effective rollout and adoption strategies.
  • Oversee organizational enablement activities including role clarity, process transition support, governance adoption, and operating model implementation.
  • Ensure leaders and teams are equipped with the tools, communications, and support needed to execute transformation initiatives effectively.
  • Monitor organizational adoption and effectiveness metrics and proactively address areas of resistance or execution risk.

Operating Model & Ways of Working Enablement

  • Support the evolution and operationalization of new technology operating models and cross-functional ways of working.
  • Drive consistency and discipline in transformation execution practices across TD&A.
  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve organizational effectiveness, and accelerate decision-making.
  • Enable scalable governance and execution models that support enterprise agility and transformation maturity.

Cross-Functional Transformation Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to TD&A leaders on organizational transformation and enablement strategies.
  • Connect efforts across multiple transformation initiatives to ensure cohesive execution and minimize organizational disruption.
  • Support executive leadership in driving cultural and behavioral shifts necessary to achieve transformation objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in organizational transformation, technology enablement, operating model transformation, management consulting, or enterprise change leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of Technology, Data & Analytics organizations and large-scale enterprise transformation environments.
  • Proven experience enabling complex, cross-functional technology or operational transformation programs.
  • Experience working within highly matrixed global organizations and influencing senior executive stakeholders.
  • Organizational transformation & enablement: deep expertise in driving organizational readiness, adoption, and operationalization of large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Strategic execution: ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable enablement frameworks, governance structures, and execution plans.
  • Change leadership: strong ability to guide organizations through ambiguity, resistance, and organizational change while maintaining alignment and momentum. Experienced use of change frameworks.
  • Operating model design & optimization: experience enabling new organizational structures, governance frameworks, ways of working.
  • Executive influence & collaboration: exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build trust and alignment across senior leadership teams.
  • Problem solving & systems thinking: ability to identify interconnected organizational challenges and develop practical, scalable solutions.
  • Communication & facilitation: strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences and drive alignment across functions.

Pay Range:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $177,100.00  to $304,500.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
