Responsibilities
As a Team Leader, Sterile Processing at Community Regional Medical Center, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective sterilization of surgical supplies used across the operating room and multiple hospital departments. This position oversees decontamination, preparation and sterilization of surgical instrumentation using approved methods, while maintaining productivity and performance standards. You will coordinate daily workflow, assign technician responsibilities, manage supply inventory, support quality control inspections and partner with the manager or supervisor on communication, evaluations and departmental needs.

The sterile processing department works closely with surgical staff in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment where teamwork and clear communication are essential. Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
- 3 years of experience in a hospital Sterile Processing department required
Licenses and Certifications
- CRCST - Certified Registered Central Services Technician Certification from HSPA required or
- CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician Certification from CBSPD required
