Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Maternity cover till Dec 2027)

Job Description:

This is a fix term contract as covering a Maternity leave till December 2027. 

As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be instrumental in developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive significant cost savings and enhance supplier performance. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the continuity of our supply chain while collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization. You will be specifically responsible for managing the indirect categories of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) and Office Supplies for the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance
• Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers and onboard them
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and supply chain efficiency
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to mitigate risks and ensure compliance

YOU MUST HAVE

• 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Proven track record of driving cost savings and supplier performance improvement
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
• Fluent English
• Experience with supplier relationship management and supplier development
• Experience with contracting and contract management
