Job Description
Candidate must be student-centered with a growth mind set as we all work collaboratively to increase equitable scholar opportunties and outcomes through standards-based instruction. Individual must encourage higher level, independent and creative thinking as well as problem solving. Applicant needs to be able to implement best instructional practices through a culturally responsivive lens via Humanities (Reading & Writing, Social Studies) and STEM (Balanced Math, Science, Project Lead the Way), and be able to integrate technology into the curriculum. Teacher must build an inclusive classroom community and commit to culturally responsive practices, data analysis and excellent classroom management. The candidate must also have outstanding written and verbal communication skills for family/community interaction.
Qualifications/Job Description:
- Current Indiana State Teaching License
- Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education
- Individual must have excellent organizational and communication skills
- Collaborate with Professional Learning Community to analyze data to guide instructional decisions
- Remain current in the latest educational research
- Perform other related duties as assigned
