Certified Teacher-Summer School K-4
Position Overview: Join our dynamic Summer School Program as a Certified Teacher, where you'll inspire and nurture young minds in grades K-4. We are seeking passionate educators to create an engaging and enriching learning experience for our students.
Responsibilities:
•Teach reading, math & science classes for 19.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
•Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster lifelong learners
•Encourage students to explore and build confidence in their abilities.
•Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
•Assess and document student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
Qualifications:
•Connecticut State Teaching Certification in Elementary Education (K-6)
•Experience teaching young children, including the HMH, iReady, & Smithsonian curriculum, preferably in a K-4 setting.
•Strong communication and classroom management skills.
•Enthusiasm for working with children.
•Grades: Kindergarten through 4th grade

Compensation-based on certification
