Health Services Facilitator

NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:

This position is responsible for serving as a leader, advocate, change agent, liaison, care provider, educator and resource person within the complexity of a school environment. Supports the educational process by modification or removal of health related barriers to learning within the scope of nursing practice. Collaborates with other education and health care professionals to provide optimal levels of wellness to the school community.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 
 

• Registered Nurse with licensure in the State of New Jersey.
• School Nurse Certification issued by the State of New Jersey.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a New Jersey Public School as a certified school nurse.
• Minimum BS in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
• New Brunswick Public School nurse for a minimum of 3-5 years preferred.
• Knowledge of New Jersey School Nursing Code, Practices and Procedures.
• Be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal; computer skills proficiency.

• $61,401 - $102,720
•
