Summer Intervention Tutors for (K-2)

AEA internal applications will be accepted online until 2:00 pm on 4/16/2024
The need and number of positions will be determined by the needs of the students enrolled

 

Compensation: $20 per hour (Title I Grant Funded for qualified applicants)
Meeting: Potential after-school meeting before school is out
Program Training:  One (1) day during the week before the program start, date TBD; 8am-3pm 
Program Runs: June1 through June 26 from 7:45 am - 1:30 pm (no school on June 19) 


Title I Qualifying Credentials: 

• Appropriate and valid Ohio Teaching License in one of the following areas:
  • (K-3); (K-8); (1-8); (PreK-5); (P-3)
• Candidates holding a non-qualifying teaching license will be paid from the general fund 

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Perform all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Austintown Local School District Policy and Procedures
• Assist teaching staff in executing the Ohio State Standards
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Administration

Requirements: The following are required before starting the assignment

1.  Appropriate and valid Ohio teaching credential
2. Current favorable State and Federal background checks
3. Official Sealed Transcripts
4. Negative drug screen

Employees must follow all board policies, all state, and federal laws, and adhere to the Ohio Code of Ethics set up by the Ohio Department of Education. Subject to all applicable laws, essential job functions of this position include the employee being punctual and capable of completing all of the duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
