Anticipated Coordinator for Extended School Year Program

The Extended School Year/ Summer Program Coordinator

The Extended School Year Summer Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Summer School administrator(s) with day-to-day operations including program coordination, scheduling, supervision of breakfast and lunch duties, and providing feedback and guidance to teaching assistants, student teachers, and volunteers.

Essential Functions (including but not limited to the following):

• Assist in facilitating meetings 

• Assist in leading the on-site summer program, including meetings, scheduling staff, planning activities, being “on-call” with radio, and communicating with support staff to ensure daily tasks (such as attendance monitoring and calls) are accomplished.

• Assist in keeping pertinent records and providing the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services and Assistant Directors of Student Services with daily and weekly attendance reports.

• Assist with student bus dismissal, and walker check-in and out.

• Work with the cafeteria staff to Assist in communication and updates for meal orders daily.

Teacher certification is required. OTA Coordinator rate.
