Job Description
We are looking for a Production Planner/Scheduler to join the Production organization at the Hyvinkää Supply Unit (Electrification production). In this role, you will play a key part in balancing demand, capacity, and material availability to ensure efficient, smooth, and on-time production.
You will proactively evaluate capacity, identify risks and opportunities, and contribute to achieving business targets across the factory and the global supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the factory contact point towards ESU MM for order management and communication
- Follow the monthly S&OP plan to ensure visibility of workload for the next 3 months
- Analyze demand and capacity, supporting decision-making for production management
- Release production orders on time and with correct quality
- Maintain planning and scheduling master data (per MS guidelines)
- Participate in change projects impacting planning and scheduling
- Ensure production schedules are ready before purchasing activities
- Manage impacts of material availability issues on plans
- Coordinate major schedule changes related to critical materials
- Contribute to continuous process improvement in planning and scheduling
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field
- Several years of experience in production planning or similar roles
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in Finnish and English (written and spoken)
- Solid knowledge of SAP and its interaction with MES
- Good skills in basic office tools (MS Office 365)
- Strong data-driven decision-making capability
- Proactive mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience with Qlik Sense, Power BI, or similar tools
- Understanding of Lean methodology
- Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) certification
- Experience as an SAP key user
