Used Cars Sales Assistant

The Automotive Sales Assistant will receive training to master the craft of automotive sales. This is a great position to begin your career in retail automotive.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Enhance the customer buying process by performing high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of vehicles
• Prepare and present demo vehicles so latest technology is enabled and ready for display
• Supply customer with product performance and benefits
• Build strong rapport with customers
• Assist with lead generation by managing incoming email leads and set appointments for vehicle demonstrations over email and text communication
• Prepare email collateral for clients in anticipation of scheduled appointments, making sure clients are informed before they walk into the dealership

BENEFITS:

• Compensation - $13 - $17 / hour depending on experience
• Great Schedule - Full time (40 hours), Monday to Friday flexible 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1 hour lunch)

Tom Bush Volkswagen: 9850 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32225. One mile west of I-295. There are many great nearby lunch spots and the Town Center is only five minutes away.

SUPERVISION:

Your supervisor will be Gino Manley, our Used Car Manager, who has been with us for over 10 years!

ATTIRE:

Business casual. Tom Bush embroidered polos can be provided as well.

• Quality customer service skills and sales track record
• Strong interpersonal and communications, in-person and over the phone
• Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process
• Focuses on the customer’s needs to enhance dealership and personal sales
• Eager to learn dealership best practices and advance customer service skills
• Ready to hit the ground running on learning new products in and out
• Ability to operate an automobile with a valid driver's license / clean drug screening
