Job Description
Substitute Paraprofessional positions are available for the Mansfield City School District.
REQUIREMENTS:
All substitutes are required to complete fingerprint testing through the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation as well as other pre-employment screenings. All screenings are at the potential employee’s expense.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED certification.
- Possess an educational aide permit from the Ohio Department of Education or have the ability to obtain one.
- Ability to stoop, stand, squat, bend, reach, push, and pull as various job related activities require.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with the help of another staff member.
- Possess the fine motor skills to assist the classroom teacher and students with tasks that include cutting, pasting, and arranging materials and manipulatives to complete group, class assignments, or individual assignments, and arrange classroom displays or bulletin boards.
